Flying this semester has been one of my favorite parts of being back at school! I am in the instrument course which means I'm currently learning all of my training to be able to fly into clouds and only rely on my instruments in front of me. It proposes a new kind of challenge because all of my training thus far has been visual reference to the ground. Now that I am getting my instrument training, I will have the ability of being able to fly in both the clouds and visual weather. I am about 80% done with my training this semester as well, so I should hopefully be done with flying by the end of October/early November!
Not much to really see.... |
Having my car up here this year is such an awesome addition. I no longer have to walk to the shuttle to get out to the airport and I can go and get groceries whenever I want. Last year was very tough when it came to going to stores because I always had to bum a ride off someone. This year is much easier and I'm glad I brought my car to Grand Forks. Now I just hope she makes it through the winter....
Hopefully I don't make the same mistake of waiting over a month to post something new. There is always something to talk about so I will try to be better about writing. For those of you that read my blog last year, I am going to Kansas City again in a few weeks so I hope to post something then!
Oh and last thing....it snowed today. This could be another long winter....

ReplyDeleteand SO SORRY for the bronco loss last night, man what a bummer! i guess what jim irsay said got into peyton's head a little.
great post! love the aerial photos, how cool! i can't wait to get up in the air with you at the drivers seat, i'll probably freak out a little....just sayin'. :)
i'm sure 19 credits doesn't allow for much down time, don't blame you for wanting to rest your brain cells when you do get a chance to stop.
look forward to hearing about KC, thanks for keeping us in the UND loop. :)
